Isherwood Antiques offers an interesting and delightful mix of European furniture, period paintings and decorative objects, each piece being carefully chosen by the owner, Nicola Isherwood, for its quality and decorative appeal.
Nicola Isherwood began trading as Isherwood Antiques & Interiors whilst living in Paris in 2002, focussing primarily on London and US based Clients by regularly exhibiting at the London Decorative Antiques and Textiles Fair.
A family move to Sydney in 2005 led to the opening of her showroom, Isherwood Antiques in Queen Street, Woollahra, Sydney`s traditional home to antique dealers and galleries where she has established her reputation as a local dealer.
From August 2012, antiques featured on the website will be available to be viewed either by appointment or at the major art and antique shows throughout the year in Sydney and Melbourne. Please check back regularly in News and Events for our next planned event..
The interiors side of our business, in particular fabrics and furnishings by Chelsea Textiles and Nicholas Haslam will continue to be available at the newly opened Interiors and homewares boutique, Village Home at 111 Queen Street Woollahra, where a select range of our antiques and decorative pieces can also be viewed.
As Nicola travels overseas regularly in her search for new pieces, she maintains a base in Paris and London and certain stock items can be viewed in these locations. Please see individual item descriptions for these details.
Nicola is a member of the Australian Antique and Art Dealers Association and serves on the Committee of the New South Wales Chapter of the Association.
ANTIQUES ON APPROVAL
